The Club holds regular training sessions with Andrea Dobson and Charlie Bailey.
Andrea is a BHSAI Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship, UKCC Level 2 Coach who competed Novice BE. She is also a BHS approved coach and BD List 5 judge.
Charlie is a BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship who runs her own livery yard, offering training at both her own arena and local venues.

Dressage Training:
Choose from flatwork or dressage test riding in a 20m x 40m or 20m x 60m arena. We even have the luxury of the use of an indoor 20×60 arena for the worst of the weather !
Show Jump Training:
Training over a course of plastic show jumps built to your height, with or without fillers.
Gridwork:
Focus of the session is to improve the horse’s technique over a jump. A variety of exercises to develop the horse’s and rider’s understanding of related distances
Gymnastic Jumping:
A variety of jumping exercises to develop the horse’s suppleness, balance and stride
Pole Work Exercises:
Exercises using raised poles of varying heights to improve the horse’s suppleness, balance and striding.
Jumping for Beginners:
Aimed at riders with little or no jumping experience. Focus will be on securing the correct jump seat and position. Taking time to develop understanding and confidence for both horse and rider, you will begin with pole work and progress to low jumps.
Arena Cross Country Exercises:
A variety of XC specific jumping exercises to help prepare horse and rider for XC schooling and competitions
Cross Country Training:
Cross Country Training is organised according to demand at Pontispool, Stockland Lovell , Downe Farm and Poltimore. Please email if interested.
